Administrative Specialist - USA


  • Opportunity for an experienced and talented administrator seeking new challenges and responsibilities.
  • Responsible for sales and purchase order processing.
  • Enter and process all RMA’s.
  • Update all order confirmation dates both in the system and on internal company report.
  • Reply to all customer inquiries for expedites, reschedules, open order reports.
  • Set-up of new accounts and customer contacts onto company database with all pertinent information.
  • Cross training of warehousing procedures.
  • Liaise with US sales staff on prioritizing urgent requests.
  • Work closely with internal and external sales team and management to create price quotes as needed.
  • Full-time position based in Lawrence, MA, USA.

Candidate Requirements


  • Minimum 2 years order processing and/or sales administration experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred, but can be substituted with additional experience.
  • Time-management skills, as well as the ability to handle multiple projects and priorities.
  • Strong negotiation and customer care skills.
  • Excellent communication skills both internal and external.
  • Accurate, organized and self-motivated.
  • Excellent command of written and spoken English.
  • Skilled PC user (MS office applications).
  • Thorough understanding of office systems and work procedures.
  • The ability and willingness to undertake full systems and processes training at our Head Office in the UK is required for this role.


Desirable Skills


  • Knowledge of electrical connectors or related electronic products.
  • Experience of working within an ISO 9001 Quality Management System.
  • Experience of working with Custom Relationship Management System.
  • Knowledge of Warehousing & Logistics operations.
  • Experience in a database order entry system such as SAP.
