InformAg specialises in the development of automation and data gathering solutions across Agriculture. Developing an advanced GPS datalogger that can be incorporated into a wide range of Agricultural vehicles, InformAg required a 50Ω UF.L/I-PEX to SMA connector to allow GPS, Cell, Wi-Fi and Radio antennas to be connected to internal chipsets. Utilised in environments that would experience high temperature differentials, high humidity, wide ranging chemical application and direct jet wash/steam cleaning applications the highest level of protection and corrosion resistance was required.

GradConn’s CAB412RF-0200-A-1-E was selected as a product that provided Stainless Steel SMA with a comparatively large diameter external flange and O-ring coupled with 200mm length option. InformAg has combined this product with an IP69K rated aluminium enclosure from Bopla and IP69K rated automotive connectors from TE Connectivity to provide a robust solution that can easily be maintained and upgraded as required.
