The newest Nano SIM connector from GCT is one of the smallest solutions on the market in push-push configuration.
GCT's extensive range of SIM connectivity solutions welcomes the all new SIM8065 Nano SIM connector to the line up. It is the first Nano SIM available from GCT with a spring-loaded push-push card eject mechanism and is backed up with strong card retention capabilities. This is combined with intelligent card detection switch functionality, all cleverly engineered into a compact and tiny form factor taking just 168.51mm² of PCB real estate. It is also one of GCT’s lowest profile SIM connectors at just 1.37mm.
The stainless steel shell has solder tabs on each corner in addition to dual locating pegs to ensure exceptional stability when mounted on a PCB. The connector is rated to 5,000 mating cycles providing excellent durability for a wide range of cellular based applications.
"Nano SIM connectors such as the SIM8065 represent a compelling solution for those looking to embed cellular capabilities into small and compact devices" says David Luu, GCT Marketing Manager. "e-SIMs can also fulfill this requirement, but usage still remains limited to specific applications; Nano SIM connections still offer the same functionality whilst remaining price competitive in a package most engineers will all know and understand."
