Two contact types: ‘Leaf Spring’ and ‘Tuning Fork’, both offer two points of contact with mating header pins. ‘Tuning Fork’ is the lower cost option, with higher insertion and extraction force, suitable only for top entry applications. ‘Leaf Spring’ is lower force contact and suitable for top, bottom & dual entry applications. For higher number of mating cycles choose ‘Leaf Spring’.

• Polarisation/Shrouded
  Polarisation allows connectors to be plugged together in only the correct mating orientation. Achieved by a polarisation cutout or ‘key’ on PCB headers and raised polarisation bump on female connectors. Select both ‘key’ and ‘bump’ to view all polarised parts.
